NELLORE: PRP district co-convener Ulavapati Ramesh Babu (32) who was kidnapped on Friday evening was found murdered at Venkatagiri on Sunday.
While police claimed that Ramesh Babu had business rivalry, his wife and brother alleged that the murder had a political angle. According to them, some Congress leaders were behind the kidnap and murder.
But police said Ramesh Babu, who was doing flexi printing business at Gandhi statue centre in Nellore town, had business rivalry with his partners.

On Friday, K Sunil Kumar Reddy of Kovur, one of the partners kidnapped Ramesh Babu along with his son Krishiteja (5) while they were on their way to hospital.
His whereabouts were not known till Sunday when police received information from Krishiteja that his father was killed before his eyes near a canal at Venkatagiri. He also said that the killers took him to Chennai and left him there, according to the police. The body of Ramesh was found at Chittedu canal on Sunday and the police are investigating the case.
