New TTD authority to take charge on Aug 30

HYDERABAD: The recently appointed specified authority for the administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will take charge on August 30. The three-member authority was formed a couple of days ago with special chief secretary, health, J Satyanarayana as its chairperson.
V Nagi Reddy, VC&MD of APIDC, and IYR Krishna Rao, TTD executive officer, are its members. Significantly, the authority has no representative from the endowments department.
All the three members will take oath between 6 am and 7 am on August 30 after which it will hold its first meeting the same day.The authority is likely to discuss the recommendations of vigilance and enforcement DG V Dinesh Reddy, who submitted a report on the irregularities committed in the TTD in various sevas.
