He also accused the present Congress govt of suppressing files of corruption in the Kaleshwaram irrigation project. “When in opposition, the Congress wanted full investigation into corruption in the project and after coming to power, its govt has gone silent on the issue,” he said. Chief minister A Revanth Reddy was named in the cash-for-vote case when he was a TDP MLA from Kodangal in 2015 when BRS was in power, a year after Telangana separate state was formed.
Political observers said it would be interesting to see how the saffron party will respond to allegations of Modi since it is in alliance with TDP in Andhra Pradesh.
