Metro overhead system inspected

Hyderabad: The

chief electrical inspector

to the government of India (

CEIG

) for Hyderabad Metro Rail Project on Friday conducted a statutory inspection of overhead electric traction system (OETS) between

Hitec City Station

and

Raidurg

section. The traction system is fed by the 132kV/25kV receiving sub station (RSS) of the Hyderabad Metro Rail at Yousufguda. Incoming supply to the RSS is drawn from 220kV/132kV main substation of TRANSCO.

DVS Raju, said that completion of these trials beyond Hitech City station is crucial to improve train frequency between Ameerpet and Hitec City. tnn
