HYDERABAD: Twenty-one cases were taken up at the Lok Adalat organised by the A P Legal Services Authority at the High Court on Thursday.

hyderabad: twenty-one cases were taken up at the lok adalat organised by the a p legal services authority at the high court on thursday. most of the cases related to motor vehicle accidents. of the cases relating to insurance claim for motor vehicle accidents, two were from the city. of the cases, 20 cases pertained to united india insurance company from different districts with litigants claiming insurance payment. in one such case relating to the accidental death of her husband, n lakshmamma from chittoor who had claimed rs 2.5 lakh settled for rs 1.85 lakh. a special case of divorce with the mutual consent of the partners was taken up. the cases were settled by justice t ranga rao, retd judge of ap high court, in the presence of senior advocates m bhaskar lakshmi and j sudhir. secretary of ap legal services authority b rajanna and other advocates were present.
