HYDERABAD: IT and municipal administration minister K T Rama Rao met Karnataka

chief minister

H D Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

The meeting assumes significance as it comes close in the heels of JDS leader and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda meeting Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

K T Rama Rao said he had a breakfast meeting with Kumarasamy. He said he shared the details of various ongoing initiatives in Telangana like Mission Bhagiratha and Haritha Haaram among other things.

“Was very impressed with the CM’s humility and simplicity,” K T Rama Rao tweeted. K T Rama Rao also met Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil, an actor.

KTR’s visits outside the state, as can be understood, carry home the message that he is his father KCR’s emissary. The 2019 elections is what the CM is concentrating on now and ties with the JDS in Karnataka is what the TRS wants to keep, party sources claimed.
