KCR's PA's kin kidnapped, abandoned near Telangana Police Academy

HYDERABAD: After the Telangana police launched an intensive search, the kidnappers abandoned K Chandra Shekar Rao's personal assistant's relatives near Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA) at around 3am on Wednesday.
The KCR's kin were kidnapped from their house in Bowenpally by a group of people posing as IT sleuths on Tuesday night.
According to police at around 7pm, 15 members posing as IT sleuths entered the joint family of Praveen Rao at Manovikas Nagar in Bowenpally.
After informing the family members that they came to conduct a search, the 15-member team separated Praveen Rao, his brothers, Naveen Rao and Sunil Rao from the rest of the family, task force police said.
At about 7.30pm, they drove away with the three brothers in three separate vehicles. The family members approached the police at around 10pm. Police immediately formed search parties and verified CCTV footage near Praveen's house.
During the preliminary probe, police found out that dispute related to a land in Hafeezpet could be the reason for the kidnap.
Police apprehended a few suspects and the role of an AP politician's family behind the kidnapping incident is also being verified.
