K Janardhan Reddy won the teachers' constituency of Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad by defeating his nearest rival P Sudhakar Reddy with a margin of 5,429 votes.

HYDERABAD: K Janardhan Reddy won the teachers' constituency of Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad by defeating his nearest rival P Sudhakar Reddy with a margin of 5,429 votes.
The Election Commission announced results of two teachers' constituencies on Tuesday. In the Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad teachers' constituency, K Janardhan Reddy secured 11,667 votes, while his rival and sitting candidate, P Sudhakar Reddy, got only 6,238 votes.
In the Prakasam-Nellore-Chittoor teachers' constituency, Bala Subramanyam defeated his nearest rival S Nagaraja with a margin of 5,351 votes.

Subramanyam secured 10,910 votes while Nagaraja got 5,559 votes. The results of the remaining constituencies are likely to be announced on Wednesday.
