HYDERABAD: A 19-year-old intermediate student, who suffered third degree burns while performing reality TV show inspired fire stunts at Falaknuma, has succumbed while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital on Sunday.
The deceased was Md Jalaluddin of Jahanuma. Jalaluddin was a fan of - India's Got Talent, reality TV show broadcast on Colors channel.

Trying to imitate the fire stuns performed by participants on the show, Jalaluddin suffered 54 per cent burns on April 7.
To showcase his skills to friends, the 19-year-old invited a group of his friends to white pahad hillock near Jahanuma in Falaknuma on April 7 evening.
"Even while reaching atop the hillock, Jalaluddin performed various stunts like blowing fire from the mouth. After reaching the top of the hillock, Jalaluddin poured kerosene on his T shirt and then set it ablaze using a torch. Things turned tragic within seconds as Jalaluddin could not remove his T shirt and the vest in time. By the time his friends put off the fire, Jalaluddin suffered 54 per cent burns," Falaknuma SI E Saidulu told TOI.
While under going treatment at the burns ward in Osmania General Hospital, Jalaluddin succumbed in the wee hours of Sunday and police registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC.
