Inadvertent bedroom tryst: Man ends life

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery (BAMS) student died by suicide at his house in Madhuranagar on Wednesday due to a misunderstanding with friends.The deceased J Jagadish hanged himself to the ceiling fan with a rope. He enrolled himself in BAMS course last year in Dr BRKR Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Erragadda. He was staying with a friend, Phanindra, at Jawaharnagar in Madhuranagar. Phanindra has been preparing for competitive exams and on Tuesday night, a female friend of Phanindra stayed in their room. In the night, while all were asleep, accidentally Jagadish’s leg came in contact with her. Phanindra and the woman left the room on Wednesday morning.“Jagadish was disturbed thinking his friends misunderstood him and left. He messaged close friend Ajay saying he is dying. Ajay called him and Jagadish said he was upset about what happened. Ajay alerted other friends,” Madhuranagar SI L Narender said. Ajay’s friends rushed to Jagadish’s room. “They peeped through the window and saw Jagadish hanging. They forced the door open and shifted him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead,” SI said. A suspicious death case under section 174 CrPC was registered.
