HYDERABAD: An 18-year-old engineering student who was on her way back home after writing a
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) examination died after the motorbike she was riding was hit by a water tanker near Uppal bus depot on Monday.
Medipally police said the deceased identified as M Akshitha fell down from the motorbike when the tanker hit her vehicle. The tanker ran over her.

Shiva after writing the examination at Surya Techno College at Peerzadiguda. The victim was a resident of Ramanthapur.
Police have registered a case under Section 304-A (negligence causing death) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, two labourers were mowed down by a train in early hours of Monday when they were crossing the railway track near Malakpet. It was at around 12.30am when 48-year-old P Lakshmi, a resident of Ayodhya Nagar, and 45-year-old Yadaiah, a resident of Malakpet, were mowed down by the train when they were crossing the railway track.
Both were walking separately when they were mowed down. A case has been registered by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
