Hyderabad: Sunny Leone's show in Jubilee Hills cancelled over lack of permit

HYDERABAD: A scheduled performance by Bollywood actress Sunny Leone at a nightclub in Jubilee Hills on Saturday was cancelled due to the lack of police permission.

Hundreds of fans gathered at the venue in anticipation of the show, only to be told at the last minute that the performance of the actress was called off.

Organisers of the programme cited ill health of the actress as the reason for the cancellation of the performance.

However, the real issue was that the organisers failed to secure police permission in advance.

They reportedly approached the police officials for permission just a day before the event but lacked a proper crowd management plan.

After the police officials confirmed they could not grant approval, the event went ahead without the performance of Sunny Leone.
