Hyderabad all dolled up for Ivanka Trump

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Police is making elaborate arrangements for the visit of US President Donald Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump to the city next week.
Ivanka Trump will be heading the US delegation for the GES.
City and Cyberabad police have decided to give a green channel passage in all corridors for Ivanka when she travels from Westin Hotel (where she is slated to stay) to summit venue Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) and then to Falaknuma palace, as well as other locations.

Authorities are in the process of re-carpeting selective stretches around Hitec city on a warfooting. The road connecting Hitec city to Raheja Mindspace and the one from Cyber Towers to HICC are also being carpeted .

Top priority is given to the road leading from Gachibowli to Hitex from where the delegates travel the most.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is planning to present a unique gift to Ivanka at the dinner party hosted by the Telangana government at Golconda Fort on November 29. The gifts will comprise a memento of Charminar, (a replica of the historical structure), pearl-studded necklace and diamond-cut jewellery designed by Hyderabad jewelers and handloom woven silk sarees from Gadwal, pochampally and Sircilla. Sources said that KCR will take the final call on which items to be gifted to Ivanka.
