HYDERABAD: A 23-year-old supervisor of a private hospital in
Nirmal
town was stabbed to death by a compounder due to a personal grudge over a woman with whom they were in a relationship.

Prasad
(23), a native of
Lokeshwaram
in Nirmal district.
According to Nirmal town police, Prasad and accused
Khayyum were attracted to the woman (21) whom they met at their workplace. “She was initially close to Khayyum and recently she became close to Prasad. As she started avoiding Khayyum, he became jealous of Prasad,” police said. On Tuesday night, Khayyum and Prasad met on the terrace of a building near the woman’s rented house in Nirmal.
They had a heated argument and in a fit of rage, Khayyum stabbed Prasad in the chest. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed while undergoing treatment, police said. Khayyum, who went absconding, was picked up by cops on Wednesday in the town. A murder case was registered against him. Khayyum hails from
