HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad High Court has directed the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) not to stop evaluation of answer scripts even if the applicants had failed thicken a couple of circles in the candidate's information sheet. This ruling comes in the wake of petitions filed by a couple of candidates appearing for the Staff Selection Commission's combined graduate-level examination-2014.

Dealing with a petition filed by Guduru Raja Surya Praveen and another candidate, who wrote this examination, the division bench comprising Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao and Justice Anis directed the SSC to undertake evaluation of answer sheets of not only these two candidates but also of all other candidates, who were denied evaluation for such reasons. SSC conducts this test every year and the answer sheets are evaluated through computers. But the candidates' information sheets have to be filled separately, which includes roll number, hall ticket number and test form number by darkening or thickening appropriate circles given in the sheets.
