Glaucoma awareness walk held

Hyderabad: L V Prasad Eye Institute has hosted a Glaucoma Awareness Walk to spread information about the disease, from LVPEI’s Banjara Hills campus on Sunday.Renowned film director and screenwriter Sailesh Kolanu and Tollywood actor Suhas Pagolu flagged off the walk. Speaking on the occasion, Kolanu applauded the doctors and medical professionals for the work they are doing to ensure that everyone can access best eye care.As part of the world glaucoma week which is observed from March 12-18, L V Prasad Eye Institute’s Kallam Anji Reddy Campus in Hyderabad is also organising a patient interactive forum to raise awareness about early detection and treatment of vision-threatening Glaucoma eye disease.
