in Jillelaguda and S Sandhya Rani of Venkateswara Nagar in Meerpet - met at Sandhya's house on Sunday morning and left together after informing the family members that there was a special class.
As the girls did not return home till late in the evening, their family members lodged a missing complaint with police.
Police found a note left by Sravani at her house. "Addressing her mother, Sravani wrote that she was afraid of failing in the board exams. She decided to leave the house," an officer of the Meerpet police station, quoting the note, said. The police checked the call data of the girls and tracked them to their former classmate, Bindu's house at Saidabad, on Monday. They were later handed over to the family members.
