‘Financial stress’ drives city techie to hang self

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old software engineer ended his life due to alleged financial problems at his hostel in Raidurgam on Sunday. The deceased, L Suresh, 26, was a native of Vijayawada. He was staying at a private hostel in Raidurgam.On Sunday morning, Suresh sent a message to his colleague, Bharghava Rao, saying that he decided to die by suicide. Rao rushed and informed the hostel staff about the message. They went to Suresh's room on the first floor and knocked on the door. As there was no response, they forcibly opened the door latch and found Suresh hanging from the ceiling fan with a rope.
