Farmer held over Covid-19 rumour
Hyderabad: Medak police registered two cases pertaining to rumours circulating on social media about the health of Medak MLA M Padma Devender Reddy.
“We found that a farmer, Nagaraju, of Rajupally village in Medak, circulated the false messages. Nagaraju has been taken into custody,” Medak DSP Krishnamurthy said. In another complaint pertaining to similar rumours on Facebook, Medak town police booked administrators of the FB page.

“We are yet to obtain details of the page organiser,” the DSP said. tnn
