Danam’s next jump may be into BJP: KTR
HYDERABAD: Seeking votes for BRS candidate T Padma Rao Goud in the Lok Sabha polls to be held on May 13, BRS working president and former minister KT Rama Rao took a dig at Congress candidate Danam Nagendar who quit the BRS and joined the grand old party.
“What is the guarantee that he will not join the BJP after the elections? If he could jump from BRS to Congress, Nagendar can jump into the BJP too,” KTR said about Danam Nagendar.
1x1 polls

In the 2023 assembly elections, Nagendar had won from Khairatabad assembly constituency on a BRS ticket but left the party and joined the Congress. KTR also said as an MP from Secunderabad, union minister G Kishan Reddy who is in fray again did not contribute for the development of the city in any manner.
The former minister also said that all assembly constituencies in the city had backed BRS in the polls last year and urged for people’s continued support. KTR had also paused his public address midway after he heard the ‘azaan’ (call to prayer) from a nearby mosque. He said it was the culture of Hyderabad city to honour each other’s religious feelings and be in harmony.
