Congress to keep flock together in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: After winning the poll battle, Congress has shifted focus to keeping its flock together. The party has now directed its MLAs to come to Hyderabad by Sunday night. The MLAs would be accommodated in star hotels to avoid any possibility of poaching although there are no indications of the BRS making such a move.

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has sent his resignation to governor Tamilisai Soundararajan who accepted it and requested him to continue till the new government takes charge.

The AICC leadership has deputed Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar to keep the MLAs away from any poaching attempts. AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed party observers KJ George, Deepa Das, Dr Ajoy Kumar and Muraleedharan to coordinate CLP meeting.
