Hyderabad:
BJP legislature party leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy on Thursday alleged that the
Congress is running a ‘pseudo govt’ in the state. He hinted this was the reason for it not handing over investigation into the Kaleswaram project to the CBI.
Addressing a press conference at the state party office, he said, “Congress is corrupt to the core. It is looking to take advantage of the scams committed by previous BRS govt.
That is why it is not handing over investigation into irrigation projects to the CBI.”
Reddy claimed that recently Congress govt gave back land worth crores after cancelling a GO. “It was scrapped on the grounds that BRS govt issued an illegal GO. After saying this, the same Congress handed over the land parcel to a big company. Is this not corruption?” he asked.
He said there has been no respite for people even after a change of guard. “I will expose every such action of Congress govt,” he alleged. tnn
