Byreddy among 3 booked for murder

KURNOOL: Kurnool rural police on Sunday registered a case against three persons, including Rayalaseema leader Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy, in connection with the murder of Nandikotkur market yard vice-chairman Sai Eswar.
Sai Eswar, 50, was waylaid and murdered by unidentified people in Kurnool on Saturday evening. He was walking in Revenue Colony when the assailants, who came in an autorickshaw, pounced on him with deadly weapons and hacked him to death.Besides Rajasekhar Reddy, the police also named Seshasena Reddy and Siddharth Reddy as accused. The motive behind the murder is not known. Sai Eswar was involved in some police cases. The police had opened a rowdy sheet against Eswar.
