Book on Iraq war coverage to be released

HYDERABAD: The Osmania University Post-graduate Urdu Students Association on Friday will release a book in Urdu on the coverage of the 21-day Iraq War by the international media.
According to a press release, the book is written and compiled by president of the association Mohammed Mustafa Ali Sarvari. The book is an emotional and philosophical look at war and a critique of the coverage by several international newspapers and news channels throughout the conflict and after.
The book comprises articles, observations, reviews and critics of famous writers on the war that generated debate in the entire world. Basing on the coverage of the international media, the book also gives a vivid picture of impacts of the war on Iraq and other countries.
The book will be released by the editor of The Siasat, Zahid Ali Khan, on Friday at 4 pm on the premises of the newspaper office, the release added.
