HYDERABAD: BC welfare minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday criticised the BJP, stating they promised to give the CM's post to a BC but didn't even support BC leader Bandi Sanjay during a crucial time. Instead, leaders like Raja Singh were sidelined, prompting his resignation, which was accepted by the saffron party on Friday. "BJP is anti-weaker sections. Now is the time for BJP to correct itself and all opposition parties, including the BRS, to support the ordinance. Our CM is from the upper caste, TPCC president is a BC, and the deputy CM is an SC. The soul of the Congress stands with the weaker sections and can ensure true social justice ," Ponnam said.
