BJP to release ‘chargesheet’ today on Congress govt’s one-year rule

Hyderabad: BJP will release a chargesheet on the one-year governance of the Congress govt on Sunday, Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy said. He said the Congress govt failed on all fronts and promises it made to people in the last assembly elections. He asked the party leaders to prepare similar chargesheets in their respective districts and assembly constituencies. The party is also planning to hold a public meeting on Dec 6 in the city.Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Kishan Reddy said after taking over as chief minister in Dec last year, A Revanth Reddy had announced that the govt would waive off crop loans up to 2 lakh on Dec 9. Though one year has gone by, loan waiver was partially implemented, he said.Similarly, the Congress promised a 4,000 monthly pension, new ration cards, filling two lakh vacancies, and made many other promises, none of which were fulfilled. The state govt claimed to fill thousands of vacancies in govt departments in the past year, but those notifications were issued and exams were conducted during the previous BRS govt regime, not by the present Congress govt.Stressing the need to take up people's movements on failures of Congress govt, Kishan Reddy said new booth committees would be formed soon. "When we met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said there is a great future for BJP in Telangana. Kishan Reddy earlier addressed a BJP Sanghatana Party workshop along with BJP state incharge Sunil Bansal.
