B’day bash of CM planted tree at Nizamabad

Hyderabad: Roads and buildings minister Prashanth Reddy and BRS workers on Thursday celebrated the birthday of a tree planted by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao eight years ago as part of Haritha Haram, at Velpur in Nizamabad. Now, it has turned eight with its ninth year running. Reddy along with his followers cut a cake in front of the tree as part of the celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, he claimed that the Haritha Haram was taken up without any interest of gathering votes, but purely to safeguard future generations from climate change.
