56 mobiles stolen from shop

HYDERABAD: Burglars gained entry into a mobile store at Ashok Nagar and stole Rs 2.5 lakh worth property on Saturday night.
According to the Chikkadpally inspector of police (detective), N Sudhakar Reddy, burglars gained entry into the Planet M store at Ashok Nagar and escaped with 56 cell phones and Rs 24,000 cash.
"The main shutter lock was force opened and on Sunday local persons noticed the theft and alerted the shop management," Sudhakar Reddy said.
Based on the complaint lodged by the Planet M AP in-charge, Rajiv Bhaskar, the police registered a house breaking by night case and also a theft case under the sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
