Telangana: 45-year-old woman knifed to death by son-in-law over property row

A 45-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her son-in-law and two others at her Karimnagar residence on Friday. Her mother, who tried to resist the assailants, suffered injuries in the attack. Lower Manair Dam police suspect the murder was a fallout of a property dispute.

Hyderabad: A 45-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her son-in-law and two others at her Karimnagar residence on Friday. Her mother, who tried to resist the assailants, suffered injuries in the attack. Lower Manair Dam police suspect the murder was a fallout of a property dispute.
Sulochana along with her mother Balavva was attacked with a knife by K Arunender Reddy and two of his family members when she was sleeping in her house at Thimmapur area.

With multiple injuries on her stomach and chest, Sulochana died on the spot. Balavva sustained a stab injury on her back who is out of danger now, police said.
Police took Arunender, his brother Vikranth Reddy and their father Krishna Reddy into custody. A murder case was registered. Sulochana, who was a widow, owned five acres of land near Thimmapur and Arunender had been asking for a share, police said.
