23 awarded police medals

HYDERABAD: Twenty-three police officers from the state were on Sunday awarded Police Medals for distinguished service and Indian Police Medal for meritorious service in the year 2008.
Those who got awards for distinguished service are: N Sambasiva Rao, M Malakondaiah, K Satyanarayana Rao, P Rama Rao -- all IPS. Those who got police medal for meritorious service are: K V Rajendranath Reddy, P Sitharamanjaneyulu, B Balakrishna (IPS), D Laxman Rao, K Ramakrishna Rao, V Ramakrishnaiah, P Venkata Radha Krishna, B Chitti Babu, M Venkateswara Rao, N V Sambaiah, Jinka Pedda Yerikalaiah, U Sreekrishnudu, Mohd Zainuddin, L Chandrasekharam, K Chinnaiah, S Surya Prabhakar RAo, E Bharatudu, V Narayana Rao and Mohd Khaja Miya.
