Undeclared emergency in state, alleges former CM

Hubballi/Haveri: Former CM Basavaraj Bommai said that an undeclared emergency has been created in the state and the Congress government is working to create fear among the people. Speaking to the reporters, here, on Sunday, Bommai said that the power has intoxicated the government in just seven months. He said that kar sevak Srikanth Poojari of Hubballi had been sent to jail even though not a single case was pending against him. “The people are observing everything. The power has intoxicated this government within seven months and the BJP will fight against it. A ‘Chinthan-Manthan’ will be held on January 8, where the plan of action will be decided,” Bommai said. He also clarified that he had told party leaders he would not contest in the LS elections. TNN
