Traffic diversions announced in Hubballi – Dharwad following student protest

Dharwad: Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate has announced temporary traffic diversions on February 24 from 6am to 6pm in Dharwad in view of a student organisation protest scheduled in the city..According to the police, the diversions have been put in place to ensure smooth traffic movement and public safety during the protest period. Motorists have been advised to follow the alternative routes and cooperate with traffic authorities.
Route diversionsVehicles coming from Haliyal side towards Dharwad city will be diverted via Hoysalanagar Bridge, then through the bypass road and Kelageri Road, before entering the city.Vehicles travelling from Dharwad city towards Haliyal will be diverted via KCD Road, Dasanakoppa Circle, Srirang Road, Kelageri Bypass Road and Hoysalanagar Bridge before connecting to Haliyal Road.Public advisoryPolice have requested the public to avoid travelling on the Hoysalanagar to KCD Circle stretch during the diversion period. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes including KCD–Dasanakoppa Circle Road, Kelageri Bypass Road and Hoysalanagar Bridge Road.Authorities have urged citizens to plan their travel in advance and cooperate with traffic personnel deployed along the diversion routes.
