Stray dog injures 20 kids, 5 adults in Bidar

Bidar: A stray dog bit 25 people, including 20 children, in the Mailuru area of Bidar city on Saturday. Ten children were treated at Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital as inpatients, while other children and adults were treated as outpatients. The children were bitten on their thighs, back and on their faces severely by the dog. Their parents claimed to have complained about the stray dogs to their area councillor, but to no avail. Bandeppa, a parent, told the media that his daughter was severely bitten by the dog when she was playing with other children near their house. The dog is said to have attacked other children too. The dog went on biting children at four places, according to their parents.
