Shantai Vrudhashram with 27 members wins praise from lawmakers

During his visit, he appreciated the relentless efforts of former mayor Vijay More and his family, who have been devotedly caring for Ashram residents.Shantai Vrudhashram, an old-age home established in 1998, run by social worker Vijay More, is providing shelter to several elderly people free of cost by getting help from donors. Presently, it has 27 residents, including 22 women and five men, besides seven staff members.MLC Hattiholi toured the premises, observing the facilities and interacting with the inmates. He expressed great satisfaction over the cleanliness, well-maintained surroundings, and the spirit of seva being carried out at the Ashram.He mentioned that minister Laxmi Hebbalkar is aware of the noble work being carried out at Shantai Vrudhashram and appreciated these efforts. He assured that he will extend his support whenever required.
He also conveyed his commitment to assist in the construction of the new building at the Ashram.Shantai board director Allan Vijay More, along with the members of the Giants Group of Belagavi Sakhi, felicitated MLC Channaraj Hattiholi.The members of the Giants Group of Belgaum Sakhi, Maria Vijay More, the residents of the Ashram and other well-wishers were present during the occasion.
