Club of Venugram- Belgaum has embarked on challenging task of collecting 1,000 units of blood by donors on October 2, commemorating birth anniversary of father of the nation. Event will be held at Mahaveer Bhavan near Goaves from 9am to 4pm. DB Patil said event is being sponsored by Oriental Insurance Company, Belagavi divisional office. Objective behind organizing this camp is creating awareness among public on the importance of blood donation, Patil said. Office bearers of the club- Nagaraj Bhat, Mahesh Porwal, Hemendra Porwal and Mahesh Angolkar were present.
