Headmistress chops 20 students’ hair as punishment
Belagavi: The headmistress of a private
Kiran Desai, the headmistress of St John English Medium School allegedly cut the hair of students using a scissors. Sources said the headmistress took the disciplinary action after the students did not have a proper haircut despite repeated instructions by school authorities. The incident is said to have happened two days ago.
Objecting the action by the headmistress, the parents of the students met school authorities on Monday but did not get a proper answer. Later, they complained to the
“I inquired about the incident and confirm that the incident did happen. The headmistress cut the hair of those students who allegedly had long hair. I have served show-cause notices to the school management as well as the headmistress”, the officer told TOI.
