Ex-min BC Patil criticises KSE
Haveri: Former minister BC Patil expressed his disappointment over former minister KS Eshwarappa’s actions regarding the MP candidate. “Eshwarappa is projecting his son Kantesh as the MP candidate for the Haveri-Gadag LS constituency even though he is not related to this area. Moreover, Eshwarappa and his son have been visiting the constituency along with leaders who had opposed the party candidate during the recent assembly election. He has been disturbing the the atmosphere in the constituency,” BC Patil expressed.Interacting with media persons here on Tuesday, Patil commented that KSE was acting in a childish manner in the constituency even though he is a senior BJP leader. He has been visiting the constituency even though the party has not assured a ticket for his son Kantesh. Without the party’s intimation, it not fair to claim someone as the party candidate. Normally, during LS election, party candidates have been winning in the name of PM Narendra Modi,” he taunted.BC Patil also said: “Congress legislators are insecure in the party even though they are 136. ST Somashekhar is upset, but he will not get a ministerial slot even if he joins Congress. Many factions have sprung up in Congress so people don’t have any hopes,” he claimed. TNN
