Dharwad: The 18th district Kannada Sahitya Sammelana will be held on March 30 and 31 at the Karnataka Vidyavardhaka Sangha hall in Dharwad, said Kannada Sahitya Parishat district president Lingaraj Angadi.He told reporters that that deputy commissioner Snehal R will hoist the national flag at 8am on March 30. Vice-president of KVV Sangha Sanjeev Kulkarni will hoist the Kannada flag. Sammelana president and writer Hema Pattanshetti will deliver the presidential address. District minister Santosh Lad will inaugurate the literary exhibition of the conference president. Union minister Pralhad Joshi and Sharana Sahitya Parishat president C Somashekhar will release books. MLA Arvind Bellad will inaugurate the book stall. President of KVV Sangha Chandrak'ant Bellad will preside. At 2pm, a seminar on "Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities' will be held.
Sanket Patil will speak on "AI's impact on literary creation and translation," and HL Omprakash will speak on "AI: Education, employment, and future life." Prof SM Shivaprasad will preside.
