Corporator caught

Hubballi: Chetan Hirekerur, a Congress corporator, and two others were taken away from a hotel over a clash on Sunday night on Gokul Road.
According to police sources, there was a clash over a girl between Hirekerur’s gang and a person identified as Rahul. Gokul Road police took away three persons after they came to know about the clash.
Police commissioner Labhu Ram, however, said he has no information about the names of any arrested persons but he confirmed the clash.“Gokul Road police has registered a case and is investigating it,” he said.
Hirekerur is the corporator of ward 52 in the HDMC.
