Irfan, along with his friends Gururaj and Chandrakant, came to Hirekerur taluk to elop with the bride and get married. They took her to Bengaluru in a car, fearing that her parents might come looking for her. The car overturned near Chennahalli Tand and was completely damaged.In the accident, three young men sustained serious injuries. The bride, who was sitting in the back seat, narrowly escaped harm. As the car overturned near the village, locals gathered to help the young men. Taking advantage of the situation, the bride discreetly managed to get a ride from someone and boarded a bus to Bengaluru. She reached Bengaluru and returned home.
