Belagavi: Unfinished work on roads and footpaths in Belagavi city faced the glare on Wednesday when a

buffalo

fell into a gutter while trying to avoid a vehicle.The incident happened on Club Road. A crowd gathered at the spot and informed a contractor who sent a JCB machine to rescue the animal. After two hours, the buffalo was rescued and taken to a veterinary hospital.Soon after this incident went viral on social media, public anger rose at the Belagavi Smart City Limited (BSCL).
