HUBLI: Congress leader
H K Patil feels that the BJP high command, by not being able to take the resignation of chief minister
B S Yeddyurappa over the allegations of land denotifications, has proved to be ineffective.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he criticized the saffron party, saying "just by wearing half-pants and wielding sticks, they cannot prove that theirs is a disciplined party.
They preach something, but do something else".
Further, Patil said Yeddyurappa has lost a month while playing out a big drama before the state, holding discussions with his party bosses in Delhi.
Taking a dig at the seers of various mutts who backed Yeddyurappa during the recent political crisis, Patil said they should be aware of their respectable position while giving opinions about an individual, politician or a government.
Asked what would be the future strategy of the Congress against the ruling party, he said: "Shameless Yeddyurappa will not bend to anything. People will teach him a lesson."
