Belagavi deputy commissioner Nitesh Patil gives work to 8 on humanitarian grounds

BELAGAVI: Belagavi deputy commissioner Nitesh Patil has sanctioned eight jobs on humanitarian grounds.

On Tuesday, the DC sanctioned a job within 24 hours to Basavaraj Badale who had lost his brother, Sachin, on August 22 due to some illness. Sachin was working at the DC’s office when he died. Soon after, the family approached Patil, who provided a job to the younger brother.

Basavaraj has been appointed at the Chikkodi tahsildar’s office. He later said: “We have not seen such a DC who can not only think about administration but also think about humanity. Our whole family is grateful to DC sir.”

DC Patil also gave permission for jobs on compassionate grounds to seven other people, who had long-pending requests.
