Agartala: CM Manik Saha on Sunday launched BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections, reaffirming the party’s commitment to tribal welfare and inclusive development.
Unveiling 29 promises, the manifesto proposes renaming the ADC as the Tripura Autonomous Territorial Council, preparing a master development plan for the region, and documenting and scientifically advancing traditional tribal medical practices.
Addressing the gathering at the ADC headquarters, Saha reiterated BJP’s focus on empowering indigenous communities and ensuring that Janajati (tribal) brothers and sisters benefit from every developmental initiative.
He outlined the manifesto’s key pillars — economic upliftment, social progress, and preservation of cultural and linguistic identity — emphasising the party’s vision for holistic growth across ADC areas.
The CM also stressed the creation of new opportunities in education, skill development, and employment, particularly for youth in tribal regions, to help build a secure and prosperous future.
Calling for collective participation, Dr Saha urged voters to support the BJP’s vision of a “Viksit TTAADC” built on prosperity, identity, and equal opportunity.
