Meghalaya assembly hosts pre-Christmas prayer & celebration on its new premises

Shillong: The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on Friday organised a pre-Christmas prayer service and celebration on its new premises at Mawdiangdiang in New Shillong.Assembly speaker Thomas A Sangma, deputy speaker Limison D Sangma, CM Conrad K Sangma, deputy CM Sniawbhalang Dhar, ministers, ruling and opposition MLAs and assembly secretariat officials took part in the prayer service with scripture reading from the Holy Bible.The speaker, along with the CM and MLAs, participated in the ceremonial cutting of the pre-Christmas cake.
