AIZAWL: The new Congress ministry in Mizoram would be sworn-in on Saturday by governor Vakkom Purushothaman at the Raj Bhavan, state protocol department officials said Congress Legislature Party (CLP) held a meeting at Congress Bhavan here on Wednesday and formally elected Lal Thanhawla as its leader.

The ruling Congress bagged 33 seats which included two seats won by Lal Thanhawla in the election to the 40-member state assembly held on November 25 for which the counting was undertaken on Monday last.
