All 4 accused in Ganeshpara robbery case held
Guwahati: In a breakthrough, the Fatasil Ambari police have arrested all four accused involved in the recent Ganeshpara robbery case, days after the incident sparked concern among citizens. While two of the robbers were arrested in Jan the remaining two were apprehended on Saturday from Meghalaya, highlighting the interstate dimension of the crime.

The perpetrators have been identified as Jeherul Haque, Ratul Malik, Hilwart Sangma and Roni Sangma. Deputy commissioner of police (DCP) (west police district) Numal Mahatta, while addressing a press conference said, “The robbery incident which had taken place on Jan 19, we had arrested two of the perpetrators earlier on Jan 22, and after that we had arrested two more, during a special operation in Meghalaya’s Byrnihat town. These persons have been forwarded to court as per the law.”
