Woman’s body found in bag near school in Gurgaon, murder suspected

GURGAON: A woman's body was found in a trolley bag near Shiv Nadar School in DLF 1 on Saturday night. The identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained, said a police officer, adding that cops are scanning CCTV footage from the area to trace the woman's family.

Cops received a PCR call about an abandoned trolley bag emitting a foul odour. Upon inspection, they found the woman's body inside, with severe head injuries, which cops suspect to be a case of murder.

According to police, the deceased woman, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years of age, was found dressed in a green top and light-coloured jeans with a tattoo on the right wrist and the number '8' tattooed on her left thumb. "Preliminary investigation suggests that the body was brought from a different location and dumped at the site," said a police officer.
