The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially declared the West Bengal Higher Secondary (HS) Examination 2025 results today at 12:30 PM. The overall pass percentage for this year stands at 90.79%, with over 4.7 lakh students appearing for the exams. However, the Arts stream recorded the lowest pass percentage at 88.25%, although there has been a slight improvement compared to last year's 88.2%.
Rupayan Pal, from Burdwan CMS High School, emerged as the state topper with an impressive 99.4% score, followed by Tushar Debnath and Rajarshi Adhikari with 99.2% and 99%, respectively. This year, 72 students secured a place in the WBCHSE merit list.
Students can access their results from 2:00 PM onwards on official WBCHSE websites like wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.wb.gov.in. The West Bengal Higher Secondary (HS) Examination 2025 results were officially announced today, May 7, by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) during a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhavan in Salt Lake, Kolkata. The overall pass percentage for the 2025 HS exams is recorded at 90.79%, showing a slight improvement from last year’s 92.32%. Male students outperformed females with a pass rate of 93%, while the female pass rate stands at 88.88%.
The topper, Rupayan Pal, achieved an impressive 99.4%. In the Commerce stream, the pass percentage is 97.52%, reflecting significant academic growth. A total of 30,887 students appeared in the Commerce exams, with 30,120 students passing. This is a marked improvement over last year’s 96.08% pass rate.
