Gurgaon: Huda has floated tenders for crucial projects such as installation of CCTV cameras and widening of exit and entry points on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway under the integrated mobility plan (IMP).

Satyaprakash said CCTV cameras needed to be installed at important intersections. "Also, there is a need to shift trees and gensets standing in the middle of the roads which cause accidents. The trees will not be felled but will be uprooted and replanted elsewhere," he said.
It was also decided to remove the jersey barriers on a trial basis placed ahead of Ambience Mall on the service lane of National Highway 8 for 15 days on a trial basis to end traffic woes. "If it enables smooth flow of traffic, then these would be kept away and if after removal of barriers, commuters try to drive in wrong direction the barriers will be put again at the same place where these are at present," said a senior police official present in the meeting.
A plan to decongest roads near the Huda City Centre Metro station was also discussed. "It was decided to identify a place for positioning of autorickshaws at the Metro station so that they do not cause traffic jams. The meeting decided to mark lanes on the main roads and boards showing speed limit be fixed at various locations along the roads," a traffic police officer said.
While the NHAI was asked to widen the entry and exit points on the expressway, the excise department was instructed to shift the liquor vends located near the highway.
The Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System Limited (DIMTS) will extend its cooperation in preparation of the plan which will help in making the traffic situation better in Gurgaon.
